Our Worship Service

Worship (both public and private) is a vital part of every Christian’s life.  In light of this, we desire the gathering of fellow believers in worship:

  • To be “in spirit and in truth”  (see John 4:23 – 24 and Ephesians 5:18 - 21).
  • To be uplifting and encouraging to those involved
    (see Ephesians 5:18 – 21 and Jude 20 – 21).
  • To honor the only One who is worthy of worship (see Revelation 4:8 – 11; 5:1 – 14).

Thus, we have chosen a more traditional style of worship, blending in contemporary elements where appropriate, and utilizing congregational singing and piano accompaniment. Several are involved in the leading of the worship celebrations including:

  • David Kautt, the Preaching Minister and Song Leader
  • Various Men as Pulpit Assistants
  • Mary Ellen Schiavone and Kay Dunn as pianists.

Special musical presentations and testimonials by members of the congregation are also often included. All in all, we believe that worship is to be a time of spiritual refreshing and refocusing for every participant - a time to concentrate on the One who is our Audience! We trust that is what you will find when you worship with us. Join us for Sunday worship services at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Midweek Prayer and Bible Study

Prayer is the heartbeat of any thriving congregation. And to supply sustenance for that heartbeat, Christians find living bread and water for their souls in God’s Word. Thus, prayer is at the center of all we are striving to do for the kingdom of God. And the study and application of the Scriptures – God’s Holy Spirit-breathed message to us – is that which guides our prayers, our thoughts, our words and our lives to keep them in the center of the will of God.

In light of this, our Leadership Team has designed the Wednesday Prayer and Bible Study to strengthen that heartbeat and to provide that sustenance. You are invited to join us for this uplifting time of intercession and edification each Wednesday during the school year at 7:00 p.m. at the church building (unless otherwise specified).
