The women are an active and important part of the congregation.  For example, several of the women serve on a weekly basis as Sunday School teachers and Nursery attendants, Pianists and Song leaders, and as those who prepare and clean up the Communion elements.  Furthermore, through the involvement of the JOY Ladies Group (which meets every other month throughout the year, usually the 3rd Monday), these willing servants take the lead in planning and coordinating such things as periodic congregational fellowship events, holiday celebrations and the ministry with the Community Food Pantry.  We are grateful to God for every one of them and invite all of the ladies and young ladies of the church to join hands and hearts with them in the service of King Jesus.
